The 20th Florida Conference on Recent Advances in Robotics & Robot Showcase will be held on May 31 and June 1, 2007 in Tampa, hosted by the College of Engineering at the University of South Florida. The conference venue will be in the TECO room, College of Education in USF’s Tampa campus located at 4202 E. Fowler Avenue.

 

Papers are invited in the following areas:

  • Robot Kinematics, Dynamics and Controls

  • Robot Design and Modeling

  • Robotic Applications and Software Development

  • Serial and Parallel Manipulators

  • Mobile and Humanoid Robots

  • Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles

  • MEMS and Micro-Robotics

  • Automation and Teleoperation

  • Biomedical and Assistive Robotics

  • Servicing and Space Robotics

  • Classical, Modern, Neural and Fuzzy Control

  • Manufacturing Systems Simulation and Controls

Submission of robot project names and authors for registration

Submissions

All full paper submissions should be sent to fcrar2007@gmail.com in pdf format. Accepted papers will be published at the conference site and in the Proceedings of FCRAR 2007. Formatting and submission instructions for the papers can be found at the conference web site under "Formatting" and "Paper Submission" sections respectively.

Entries to Robot Showcase can be in one of three forms:

  1. Actual robot prototype and demo.

  2. Video entries.

  3. Poster board entries.

Each entry should include a project title, authors and institution clearly identified.

Entries to Robot Showcase will be sent to fcrar2007@gmail.com with pictures in jpg format, videos in wmv, mpeg or avi format. Robot videos should include credits (project title, authors and institution) at the beginning of each video. Videos will be projected on large screens and looped at the showcase area where actual robot demonstrations will be carried out and poster boards displayed.
